Satyamev Jayate-3rd episode 'Don't waste Garbage' by Amir Khan HD Youtube video

3rd episode of Aamir's reality talk show Satyamev Jayate 2 was based on Garbage, in which he told how to use this waste material of Garbage. This episode was focused on the need for better waste management. Aamir Khan opened the show narrating that how we all laud foreign countries for being clean but still continue to litter our own surroundings without giving it a second thought. He highlighted the importance of waste management, carelessness of Municipal corporation and how garbage can be used as a valuable resource. The episode also showed how dumping grounds in major cities have got converted into mountains of 80 to 90 ft tall posing a serious threat to public health and the environment. He told that how a huge amount of Municipality budget is set aside for cleanliness in our country but it's not properly used by our system. Dr SR Malay, scientist, one of the guest on the show said that use of natural sanitisers (a special bacteria that helps making compost out of garbage) can be used to make dumping grounds less toxic. The show also highlighted that animals can also contribute in recycling of waste. Another important technique by Prof Vasudevan shown on the show which effectively uses discarded plastic to build roads was also commendable.
